Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and maintaining machinery in optimal working condition.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Friday| 5:00 AM-  1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26/hour

Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before they escalate
• Install, assemble, and test new equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve equipment performance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment & PPE:

• Industrial/manufacturing setting
• May require standing, lifting, bending, and working in varying temperatures
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed
