Food Service Team Member (Cook / Salad Bar / Deli)

Location: Smyrna, GA
Schedule: May 12 & May 14 | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.79 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking dependable and motivated Food Service Team Members to support daily dining operations at a corporate dining location. This role may include responsibilities in cooking, salad bar preparation, and deli service depending on operational needs. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Job Duties May Include:

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold food items
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines
• Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events as needed

Salad Bar Preparation

• Prepare, stock, and maintain salad bar items
• Wash, chop, and portion fruits, vegetables, and ingredients
• Set up and replenish salad bar throughout service
• Maintain freshness, rotation, and cleanliness

Deli Service

• Slice meats and cheeses to order
• Prepare sandwiches and deli items
• Assist customers with orders
• Maintain product freshness and proper food handling

General Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Support team members as needed during shift
• Ensure quality and consistency in all food items
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of food service or cooking experience preferred
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Ability to multitask and work across multiple food service areas
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Dress Code:

• Black or grey T-shirt or polo shirt
• Black pants
• Slip-resistant shoes
