Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced and driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a high-volume production environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met, and driving continuous improvement across operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on manufacturing experience and the ability to motivate teams while meeting production goals.
Location: North Las Vegas, NV
Department: Production
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $35.00/hr (depending on experience)
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead production teams to meet daily output, quality, and safety targets
- Monitor production processes and adjust workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Ensure all employees follow safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Train, coach, and develop team members, including operators and support staff
- Oversee machine operations, troubleshooting, and production performance
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift documentation
- Ensure product quality standards and customer specifications are consistently met
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to support operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and shift coverage
- Address performance issues and support employee engagement
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production supervisor or leadership role in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of high-volume production environments
- Experience with flexo printing or paper bag manufacturing preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues
- Knowledge of quality control processes and safety standards (OSHA)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking production data
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check and drug screen
