Inventory Control

We’re actively hiring Inventory Control Associates to join our warehouse team at a logistics distribution center in Romeoville, IL. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting warehouse operations while also operating a Cherry Picker forklift as needed. This is a fast-paced position ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse inventory management.

Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift:  8AM-4:30PM
Pay Rate: $18.53/hour (Temp-to-Hire)

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages
• Operate a Cherry Picker forklift to access elevated rack locations for inventory checks and product retrieval
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update system data in real time
• Support replenishment, put-away, and restocking processes
• Identify and report damaged goods, missing inventory, or safety concerns
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock verification as needed
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with supervisors, leads, and team members to meet daily operational goals

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of Inventory Control experience in a warehouse environment
• Cherry Picker experience required
• Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and move products throughout the shift
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
