1st Shift Production Associate

Production Associate – McKinney, TX

We are hiring production associates for a baked and frozen dessert manufacturing company located near downtown McKinney,TX. We are currently hiring full-time Production Associates to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity with room for advancement for individuals looking to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: 1st Shift 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Friday
(45-minute lunch break)
Shift end times may vary depending on production needs. Overtime opportunities may also be available on Saturdays.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Place cookies onto conveyor lines
• Fill packaging with frozen and baked dessert products
• Pack boxes for shipping
• Move finished products into warehouse freezers
• Remove trash as needed
• Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), company policies, and quality standards
• Perform cleaning duties on equipment, floors, utensils, and work areas
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a cold environment (approximately 50°F)
• Must be available to work full-time Monday through Friday
• Must not smell of smoke due to product sensitivity
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform repetitive bending and twisting movements

Work Environment:
Employees work around machinery noise in a temperature-controlled facility and may occasionally enter refrigerated or freezer areas. Exposure to food allergens including soy, wheat, dairy, peanuts, and tree nuts is possible. Uniforms, PPE, and hearing protection are provided by the employer.
