Are you mechanically inclined, detail oriented, and ready to grow your skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment? We’re hiring Assembly Technicians to join a fast-paced team in Brookston, IN. In this role, you’ll assist with wiring, assembling, and installing custom electrical switchgear and control systems used throughout the power generation industry while working in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Location: Brookston, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00/hour
Work Environment: Heated and cooled manufacturing facility

Job Summary
As an Assembly Technician, you’ll work under the supervision of the shop manager to complete wiring, assembly, and installation work on custom switchgear systems. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures, and a willingness to work as part of a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities
Perform wiring, assembly, and installation work on assigned switchgear and control systems. Utilize common electrical, mechanical, and carpentry shop tools safely and effectively. Assemble electrical sheet metal enclosures according to specifications and instructions. Follow production schedules, installation procedures, and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting general housekeeping duties throughout the facility. Assist with additional shop duties and projects as assigned. Use basic computer skills to support production and documentation processes.

What You’ll Need
At least 1 year of experience or familiarity working in electrical, mechanical, or assembly environments is required. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while remaining self-motivated and dependable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
