Material Operator 

Summary: Midway is seeking a dependable Material Operator – Equipment to join our warehouse team in Lewisville, TX. This role is responsible for operating material handling equipment to accurately pick, pack, receive, load, unload, and ship products while maintaining safety, security, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Location: Lewisville, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12 PM- 8:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.24

Duties:

• Perform material handling tasks including order picking, order packing, checking, loading, and unloading to meet company standards.

• Operate material handling equipment safely, including electric pallet jacks/walkies, reach trucks, cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts, dock stockers, and sit-down forklifts.

• Participate in physical inventories and assist with labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area, and help secure the warehouse.

• Charge and maintain equipment batteries as needed.

• Follow all safety and security policies, complete required safety training, and utilize Stop Work Authority when necessary.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers, leads, and supervisors regarding task progress.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations and productivity goals.
   

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum 1 year experience with electric pallet jacks and/or 1–3 years with other material handling equipment.

• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.

• Ability to follow procedures, read and write clearly, and perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.

• Physically able to lift 5–75 lbs, push carts, and stand, walk, bend, lift, or reach for extended periods.

• Able to work in hot or cold warehouse conditions and overtime as needed.

• Regular attendance and punctuality required.
