Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM

Job Description

Midway Staffing is seeking dependable and hardworking Record Center Specialists to join our team. This position is based in a warehouse setting and requires a high level of physical activity throughout the entire shift. Employees will process orders and move storage boxes, files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials throughout the facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, carrying, moving, and organizing materials while standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting for extended periods.

Schedule

• 5 days per week
• 9-hour shifts
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing orders
• Lift, carry, move, and organize storage boxes, bins, and totes
• Read labels and accurately locate inventory
• Utilize handheld scanners and inventory tracking systems
• Load and unload pallets, carts, and trucks
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets
• Climb ladders and retrieve stored materials
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Physical Requirements

This role requires continuous physical movement throughout the shift, including:

• Walking and standing for extended periods
• Frequent kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Lifting and carrying boxes weighing between 10 and 100 pounds without assistance
• Pushing, pulling, and maneuvering loaded carts and pallets
• Working on concrete and uneven surfaces
• Moving materials up and down stairs and inclines as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to safely operate handheld scanners and warehouse equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the entire shift
