1st Shift Receiving Coordinator

Receiving Coordinator- FNA

Summary: Conducts daily activities related to receiving materials into the warehouse, and ensuring safe and accurate storage for inventory retrieval.

Location: Mesquite, TX (75149)

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7 AM-3:30 PM

Pay rate: $15

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives all incoming deliveries into the warehouse and monitors the unloading process

• Directs material handlers in inventory placement

• Confirms that packing lists or other related documents match the receipts of goods and materials; verifies counts, records discrepancies and details any damaged incoming freight with corresponding report and pictures

• Submits completed paperwork to the Receiving Clerk for entry into the ERP system 

• Evaluates complaints related to shipments and takes appropriate action

• Completes management reports, as needed

• Assists in other work areas, as needed, during absences/shortages of staff

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to read and interpret documents

• Ability to perform duties in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment 

• Comfortable working in a team environment

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Able to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism

• Resume and Interview Required

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role 

• High School diploma or GED required

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage

• Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: The majority of work occurs in a warehouse environment, with prolonged periods of walking and standing in the warehouse, interacting with receiving personnel, unloaders/loaders, and drivers.  Exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, slippery and uneven surfaces.  Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.
