Cherry Picker Operator – Joliet, IL

Location: Joliet, IL
Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Cherry Picker Operator in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating cherry picker equipment to retrieve, move, store, and stage products throughout the warehouse. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The role supports inbound, outbound, and inventory operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate cherry picker/order picker equipment to pick, move, and store materials in warehouse racking systems.

• Accurately pick and stage products according to customer orders and shipping requirements.

• Utilize RF scanners to verify inventory, locations, and order accuracy.

• Retrieve products from elevated storage locations while following all safety procedures.

• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.

• Perform replenishment, put-away, and restocking activities as needed.

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any operational issues or maintenance needs.

• Follow all warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or safety concerns.

• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker in a warehouse environment.

• Valid certification or demonstrated ability to safely operate cherry picker equipment.

• Comfortable working at heights and retrieving products from elevated rack locations.

• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all safety protocols.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Basic math skills, including counting and simple calculations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to perform additional warehouse tasks as needed.
