Material Handler

Midway Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join a growing team in Lake Bluff, IL. This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse and forklift experience who are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, attendance, and performance.

Location: Lake Bluff, IL
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM & Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00+/hour DOE

Duties:

• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and material movement
• Stage materials for production and shipping
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse standards

Requirements:

• Must be able to wear a respirator
• Must be able to read and comprehend English
• Must be comfortable working with chemicals
• Steel toe shoes are required
• Must follow dress code requirements
• Must follow all applicable attendance and job performance policies
• Client interview required prior to placement
