Material Handlers

Responsibilities:

• Package and wrap finished goods according to customer specifications
• Issue and receive raw materials and sub-assembly materials to and from the production floor
• Supply rollstock and pallets to production as needed
• Assemble, monitor, and weigh production-generated scrap containers
• Operate forklifts safely and maintain forklift certification requirements
• Deliver and return material substrates to production equipment to meet scheduling demands
• Unload incoming plant supplies
• Support production and scheduling activities to meet customer and plant requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous material handling and forklift experience preferred
• Good computer skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent attendance and safety record
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to operate heavy machinery continuously
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts for extended periods
• Frequent bending, twisting, turning, and lifting
• Must remain alert and safety-focused while performing duties
