Material Operator – Equipment

Location: McDonough, GA 30252
Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $19.51/hour
Lunch Break: 30 minutes
Overtime: Extended shifts up to 12 hours when required; possible Saturday overtime

Join our team as a Material Operator – Equipment! We are seeking dependable, safety-focused warehouse professionals with equipment operating experience to support a fast-paced distribution environment. Job Responsibilities

Associates will be responsible for:

• Safely operating warehouse equipment, including:
  • Electric Pallet Jack (Walkie Rider)
  • Reach Truck
  • Cherry Picker
  • Stand-Up Forklift
  • Dock Stocker
  • Sit-Down Forklift
• Picking, packing, receiving, loading, unloading, and shipping products accurately.
• Performing cycle counts and bin counts.
• Reviewing dock inventory and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Case picking and staging product for shipment.
• Loading trucks and preparing materials for transportation.
• Using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to process inventory and orders.
• Assisting with labeling, sorting, wrapping, pallet repair, and maintaining an organized warehouse.
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Working overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating:
  • Cherry Picker
  • Sit-Down Forklift
  • Stand-Up Forklift
• Previous experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Must have steel-toe shoes.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
