Extraction Technician I

Join a growing manufacturing team in a clean, climate-controlled facility! We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Extraction Technicians to assist with the production of high-quality botanical ingredients. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or food production experience who are looking to build a long-term career. Training is available for the right candidates.

Location: Jeffersonville, IN 47130
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM | Limited Overtime Available
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (+$1.00/hour upon permanent hire)

Duties:

• Assist in all aspects of the botanical extraction process.
• Set up, operate, and monitor extraction and processing equipment.
• Clean equipment between production runs and maintain a sanitary work environment (approximately 70% of the role involves cleaning and sanitation).
• Collect in-process samples and accurately record production data.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and all safety guidelines.
• Identify and report equipment issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain inventory control standards and properly store supplies and equipment.
• Dispose of waste according to company and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; food-grade or cGMP experience is a plus.
• Botanical extraction experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. and push up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
