Job Title: Seamstress
Department: Fabrication / Production
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Hours are subject to change.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: Temporary / Temp-to-Hire

General Summary

ARM Staffing is seeking an experienced Seamstress to operate industrial sewing machines and sew products according to established product specifications, production expectations, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Sew materials according to product specifications.
• Operate industrial sewing machines, including single-needle machines.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain consistent sewing production throughout the workday.
• Follow work instructions and production requirements carefully.
• Work efficiently with a sense of urgency to complete daily assignments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Previous industrial sewing experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial sewing equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain productivity and quality expectations.
• Must demonstrate urgency when completing daily tasks.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Read work instructions and use a computer as needed.
• Hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.
• Stand and walk regularly throughout the shift.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and perform other required movements.
• Lift, pull, and push 50–80 lbs.
• Use hands and fingers for writing, typing, operating equipment, and handling materials.
