Inventory Control Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Operator to maintain inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory operations across freezer, cooler, warehouse, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to safely operate material handling equipment.

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Schedule: M-F, 8AM-4:30PM, Overtime as needed.

Pay Rate: $20-27/based on experience

Duties:

• Perform daily inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies involving raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

• Utilize the Plex ERP system to monitor, track, and maintain inventory records.

• Verify inventory transactions, prepare reports, and document inventory findings and corrective actions.

• Safely operate industrial scales and material handling equipment while assisting with inventory movements, storage organization, and location verification.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and proven experience in inventory control, warehouse inventory, or a similar role.

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Plex experience is highly preferred.

• Ability to accurately operate and read industrial scales in pounds and kilograms, with forklift or scissor lift experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently in varying temperature environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
