Job Description

Midway Staffing is currently seeking experienced Forklift Drivers for a fast-paced distribution center in Gurnee, IL. Qualified candidates must have previous experience operating both reach trucks and cherry pickers.

Location: Gurnee, IL

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Pay Rate:

  • 1st Shift: $18.50 per hour

  • 2nd Shift: $20.00 per hour

Duties:

  • Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers safely and efficiently.

  • Perform inbound or outbound distribution duties.

  • Load, unload, move, and organize products throughout the facility.

  • Pick and stage orders accurately.

  • Maintain productivity in a fast-paced distribution center.

  • Follow all workplace and equipment safety procedures.

  • Complete other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous reach truck and cherry picker experience is required.

  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check.

  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug test.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

  • Must be able to follow all safety policies and procedures.
