Document Scanning Specialist

Are you detail-oriented and comfortable working with computers and document scanning equipment? Midway Staffing is hiring Document Scanning Specialists in Livermore, CA. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable performing repetitive computer and scanning tasks in a primarily seated work environment.

Location: Livermore, CA 65030
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Duties

• Prepare and load documents into various types of scanners for processing.
• Scan documents individually or in small batches while maintaining the correct order.
• Review scanned documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform data entry and indexing of scanned files.
• Document and release completed scanned materials.
• Operate, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting on scanning equipment.
• Use a computer for frequent data entry and file processing.
• Maintain accuracy while working at a high rate of keystrokes.
• Follow established procedures to ensure documents are processed correctly.
• Rotate between scanning, quality control, and release/indexing duties as needed.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Comfortable with frequent keyboard use and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to operate and learn document scanning equipment.
• Comfortable working primarily in a seated position, with some standing while feeding scanners.
• Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy throughout the shift.
• Presentable and appropriate attire for the work environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the full scheduled shift.
