Forklift Operator – Warehouse - Shift D

Midway Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of forklift experience and a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Location: Wind Gap, PA
Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday, 11:30am - 10:00pm
Pay rate: $18.50 per hour

Duties:

• Regularly lifting and carrying items that weigh up to 51 lbs. Regularly reaching for items that weigh up to 51 lbs and lifting them to and from shoulder height
• Loading, unloading, and pushing/pulling a cart or pallet (with jack) weighing up to 1500 lbs
• Clearly and accurately recording information on documents and in software applications
•  Operating and completing certification for power industrial tools (PIT); forklift, order picker, turret truck, and other lift equipment
• Processing incoming material for receipt into inventory
• Performs all other duties as assigned
•  Anticipates problems, catches errors, and takes action to complete tasks accurately and on time as well as communities on ways to improve quality and productivity

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse

• Must be able to pass a Forklift skills test during the interview process

• Steel-toe shoes required

• Comfortable working at heights

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy

• Dependable and team-oriented
