Maintenance Technician III

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a stable, full-time opportunity where you can put your skills to work?

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician III with strong industrial maintenance experience, including electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and experience working with production equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing equipment, working on projects, and helping keep a manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with PLCs, extruders, braiders, compressors, and chillers.
• Troubleshoot and work with 460-volt equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and general equipment repairs.
• Assist with welding, light plumbing, and other maintenance projects.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Help plan and complete special maintenance projects.
• Determine materials and parts needed for repairs and help maintain inventory.
• Develop estimates and plans for electrical projects.
• Prepare reports on projects and equipment conditions.
• Help train and support less experienced Maintenance Technicians.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of electrician experience preferred.
• Experience working with 460-volt equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, schematics, and instructions.
• Basic welding experience is a plus.
• Plumbing experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Any maintenance, electrical, or technical certifications are a plus.
• Must have your own tools.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. The position involves working around moving machinery and equipment and may include exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, and uneven or slippery surfaces.
