Forklift Operator

Midway Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Cartersville, GA. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate equipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Location: Cartersville, GA
Schedule: Wednesday 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Thursday – Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay rate: $18.00/hr

Duties:

• Operate forklifts and packing equipment to move materials and meet inbound and outbound schedules.

• Load and unload materials from trailers and designated warehouse areas.

• Accurately pick, pack, inspect, and load products throughout the facility.

• Move palletized or crated materials and stack loads in designated storage areas.

• Follow inventory-control procedures and maintain accurate production records.

• Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and report safety or production concerns.

• Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

• Complete required forms and documentation.

• Assist with process improvements and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.

• Forklift operating experience or OSHA forklift certification preferred.

• RF Scanner experience preferred.

• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to follow instructions and take direction from multiple supervisors.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to cross-train and work overtime when needed.

• Proficient English communication skills; Spanish preferred.

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs, with or without reasonable assistance.
