Operations ICQA Lead

Midway Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Operations Lead to support warehouse operations in Union City, GA. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience, strong warehouse knowledge, and the ability to oversee associates while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Location: Union City, GA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay rate: $20.00/hr

Duties:

• Assign tasks and work functions to warehouse associates, including unloading, outbound staging, loading, freight verification, labeling, picking, and packing.

• Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Complete required reports and records in a timely manner.

• Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues and report malfunctions to maintenance personnel.

• Train and advise associates on proper product handling, equipment use, storage, shipping, and inventory procedures.

• Assist warehouse associates with daily operations to maintain high-quality customer service.

• Address safety, quality, and productivity concerns when procedures are not being followed.

• Work cooperatively and productively with warehouse associates and leadership.

• Follow company and site-specific safety policies and encourage associates to follow all safety guidelines.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse duties.

• Ability to work in warehouse environments that may not be climate controlled and may have fluctuating temperatures.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Ability to successfully complete the required simple math test.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
