Industrial Custodian

Midway Staffing is hiring an Industrial Custodian! We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Location: Phoenix, AZ!

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Duties

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of restrooms, offices, production areas, and common areas.

• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including blowing debris from parking lots and trimming bushes.

• Complete spot cleaning and restock supplies as needed.

• Assist with facility setup, breakdown, and special projects.

• Inspect and assist with maintaining facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.

• Handle waste disposal and recycling according to safety procedures.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and help minimize facility downtime.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification preferred.

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, building maintenance, or facilities management preferred.

• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and occasionally stoop or bend.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift.
