Equipment Operator I

Midway Staffing is hiring experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators for a fast-paced warehouse in Sayreville, NJ. Candidates must have experience operating Raymond Reach Trucks and other warehouse equipment and be comfortable working in a physically demanding, non-temperature-controlled environment.

Location: Sayreville, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Training during the first week will be Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. Extended shifts of up to 12 hours and a mandatory six-day workweek during the first week of each month may be required. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Duties:

• Operate Raymond Reach Trucks, counterbalance forklifts, double-blade pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.

• Perform put-away, replenishment, and picking operations.

• Use RF scanners and I-Warehouse equipment to complete warehouse tasks.

• Follow safety procedures and meet daily productivity and shipping goals.

• Use a headset to receive computer-generated picking instructions in English.

• Maintain an organized work area and handle materials safely.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of Raymond Reach Truck and I-Warehouse machine experience; 2+ years of Raymond Reach Truck experience preferred.

• At least 1 year of RF scanner experience.

• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts, cherry pickers, and double-blade pallet jacks.

• General warehouse experience, including put-away, replenishment, and picking.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding, non-temperature-controlled environment.

• Ability to understand computer-generated instructions provided in English.

• Steel-toe boots required.

• Complete resume showing all employment history and explaining any gaps in employment.

Interview Process:
Interviews will take place in Building 309, while the actual positions are located in Building 409. The process includes a basic computer literacy assessment, a private interview, a plant walkthrough, and a hands-on equipment test. Candidates will be asked if they feel comfortable before proceeding with the hands-on test.
