Midway Staffing is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a warehouse facility in Antioch, IL. Candidates must have at least two years of experience and be able to operate both reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.

Location: Antioch, IL
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri 2:50 PM - 11:10 PM, Must be ok with working extended hours and weekends during peak season. 

A phone screening and interview are required for consideration.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate reach trucks and sit-down forklifts to move, pick, and stage products.

• Perform order picking and load and unload containers.

• Read and verify product and location information, count quantities accurately, and use RF scanners correctly.

• Operate pallet jacks and pallet wrappers.

• Complete other general warehouse duties as assigned.

• Maintain a safe, accurate, and consistent work pace.

Forklift operation accounts for approximately 50–75% of the shift, depending on workload and operational needs. This position includes hands-on warehouse duties; cycle counting is not part of the role.

There are currently no established daily quotas or specific productivity targets. Employees are expected to maintain a reasonable, consistent pace while prioritizing safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of forklift operating experience.

• Ability to operate both reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.

• Ability to use RF scanners, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers correctly.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reading product information, identifying locations, and counting quantities.

• Willingness to perform both equipment operation and general warehouse duties.

• Completion of a phone screening and interview.
