Record Center Specialist

Midway Staffing is hiring a Record Center Specialist in Cerritos, CA. This position involves handling, organizing, and moving boxes of files and other stored materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.

Location: Cerritos, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19.49 per hour

Duties:

• Lift, carry, move, and organize boxes, bins, totes, files, books, and other materials.

• Process incoming and outgoing orders and read labels to locate and track stored materials.

• Load and unload boxes and pallets using hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

• Operate handheld scanners and computer systems to track orders and inventory.

• Shrink-wrap pallets and prepare materials for shipment.

• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and carry boxes weighing 10–100 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, crawl, and twist for extended periods.

• Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

• Ability to climb and balance on ladders.

• Ability to read and write in English.

• Must wear protective safety-toe footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of “Better” or “Best.”

• Comfortable working on concrete and uneven surfaces and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
