Entry Level Welder

Job Title: Entry Level MIG Welder
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: North Aurora, IL
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (Overtime Required)

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking Entry Level MIG Welders to join a growing manufacturing facility in North Aurora. This role involves a combination of MIG welding and general manufacturing duties, as employees may move between different production cells based on workload needs.

This position is ideal for candidates who have MIG welding training or classroom experience and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on sheet metal and plate/tube steel

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment (MillerMatic 250 machines)

• Install and set up wire spools and prepare the welding machine for operation

• Identify and produce quality welds

• Assist with general manufacturing and production tasks as needed

• Move between different work cells depending on production needs

• Follow safety and quality procedures at all times

Requirements:

• MIG welding training or experience (school or hands-on)

• Understanding of sheet metal or plate/tube steel welding

• Ability to set up a MIG welding machine and wire spool

• Ability to recognize what a good quality weld looks like

• Ability to pass a tape measurement test

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

• E-Verify required

• Ability to understand English 

• Steel toe boots required
