Equipment Operator I
Midway Staffing is seeking experienced Equipment Operators with strong reach truck experience to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a contract-to-hire position in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Location: Sayreville, NJ 08872
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM – finish (schedule subject to change based on business needs)
Pay rate: Up to $20.00 per hour
Duties:
- Operate Raymond reach trucks to move and store materials safely and efficiently
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and voice-directed systems
- Utilize I-Warehouse machines to complete assigned tasks
- Follow headset instructions in English to locate and pick products
- Maintain productivity and accuracy in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current Raymond reach truck experience (required; not forklift experience)
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience
- Experience using RF guns/scanners
- Experience with I-Warehouse systems
- Ability to understand and follow English voice commands
- Steel-toed boots required
- Strong attendance and consistent work history
- Must be able to attend an in-person interview conducted in the afternoon
- Candidates must return issued badges upon completion of assignment
