Material Handler / Sit-Down Propane Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
Seeking dependable and hardworking Material Handlers / Sit-Down Propane Forklift Operators to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This opportunity offers consistent scheduling and the ability to grow within a team-oriented setting. This role is responsible for operating forklifts safely, loading and unloading trucks, staging materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized workspace.

Schedule Available:

• Day Shift (A Crew): Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Night Shift (B Crew): 2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay Rate:
$20.00 – $22.00/hr depending on experience

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks while staging and organizing materials
• Transfer materials between warehouse and production areas
• Maintain accurate inventory and follow FIFO procedures
• Scan, track, and organize inventory as needed
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain productivity standards and workflow efficiency
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet daily goals
• Support additional warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience required
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or inventory control experience preferred
• Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software (SAP experience is a plus)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to complete an onsite interview and forklift test

Work Environment:

• Exposure to moving warehouse equipment and machinery
• Warehouse temperatures may exceed 90°F with high humidity
• Noise levels may exceed 85dB
• PPE required in designated areas
• Overtime may be required based on business demands
