Material Handler

Midway Staffing is hiring Material Handlers for an immediate opening in Lake Zurich, IL! We are looking for dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are ready to join a growing team. Location: Lake Zurich, IL 
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM Overtime required as needed, Typical overtime hours: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Occasional Saturdays during peak production periods. 
Pay Rate: Starting at $17.50/hr depending on experience 

Duties:

• Utilize RF scanners to accurately pick customer orders for shipping.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport materials.
• Mark and label customer orders as required.
• Verify outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations..

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• RF scanner experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand customer orders and shipping documentation.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when needed.
