Finishing Line Sorter

Position Summary

The Finishing Line Sorter is responsible for sorting, inspecting, and organizing printed materials at the end of the production line to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper packaging for shipment.
Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift
Pay: $16-$17

Key Responsibilities

• Sort finished mail pieces, printed materials, or packages according to job specifications
• Inspect materials for quality issues such as misprints, damage, or incorrect inserts
• Separate and organize materials into trays, bins, or pallets based on routing or job requirements
• Remove defective or non-conforming items and report issues to the supervisor
• Maintain accurate counts and assist with production tracking
• Support machine operators by keeping lines clear and materials flowing efficiently
• Label, stack, and prepare completed work for shipping or next process
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous production or warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Production floor / lettershop environment
• Exposure to moving machinery and noise
• Fast-paced environment with high production volume
