Warehouse Associate

Production Associate – Food Processing

Pay: Up to $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
Overtime: Up to 5 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Production Associate to support daily operations in a food-processing facility. This is an entry-level opportunity involving material handling, packaging, housekeeping, and general production support.

The position begins with lighter responsibilities and additional duties will be introduced as the employee becomes familiar with the production process.

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing/processing facility
• Cold work environment maintained at approximately 32°F
• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Team-oriented production setting
• Work performed around raw and finished food products

Responsibilities

• Transport product carts between processing and packaging areas
• Transfer turkey fillets from processing equipment into finished product boxes
• Assist machine operators with routine production tasks
• Help experienced cutters and production employees with assigned duties
• Stage materials and products for the next step of production
• Break down and remove empty cartons, packaging, and production waste
• Maintain an orderly and sanitary work area
• Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and facility procedures
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or other incidents to management immediately
• Provide support in other processing areas as needed
• Work effectively with other members of the production team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work comfortably in a cold environment
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Ability to safely perform repetitive production and material-handling tasks

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food-processing experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must complete required safety training before operating industrial equipment
• Must be willing to follow all required safety and PPE procedures

Required PPE & Clothing

• Steel-toe boots/shoes are required and must extend above the ankle
• Dress for a cold environment: jeans or sweatpants, hoodies, jackets, and layered clothing are recommended
