QA Technician II - Mesquite, TX

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician professional and play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality! As a Quality Assurance team member, you will perform detailed visual and mechanical inspections of manufactured products, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer expectations. You will also conduct incoming, in-process, out-of-box, and shipping inspections, testing, and reporting. When issues arise, you’ll take the lead by retraining staff to maintain top-notch quality. 

Location: Mesquite, TX

Schedule:  Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed on Fridays)

Pay rate: $16.00 per hour 

 Duties:

• Perform incoming inspections.

• Inspect components before assembly.

• Conduct in-process inspections.

• Perform first-piece inspections.

• Conduct out-of-box inspections.

• Carry out shipping inspections.

• Perform operational testing and visual inspections on parts/assemblies.

• Record inspection data on reporting documents and perform data entry as directed.

• Generate NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), RMAs (Return Material Authorizations), and communicate effectively with MRB (Material Review Board).

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience.

• Bilingual (Spanish) required.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to train production staff.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to use test equipment for dimensional inspections (e.g., calipers, tape measures, thickness gauges).

• General knowledge of quality assurance/quality control functions.

• Knowledge of MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) experience preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• Extensive walking, standing, and/or climbing.

• Heavy lifting, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

• Work in close proximity to machinery with moving parts, moving objects, or vehicles.

• Exposure to dampness and humidity.

• Exposure to slippery and uneven surfaces.
