Midway Staffing is seeking motivated and dependable workers to join our team. This versatile position lets you contribute to various aspects of our production plant operations. Location: Decatur, AR
Schedule: 5:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, respond to equipment breakdowns, and perform other repairs, including welding, light plumbing, and electrical issues.

Schedule: 5:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, respond to equipment breakdowns, and perform other repairs, including welding, light plumbing, and electrical issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs to control and maintain facility equipment, infrastructure, and operations.
- Work on production equipment, including PLCs, compressors, and chillers.
- Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
- Provide written details of work performed on Work Order forms and other documents.
- Perform, facilitate, and manage special projects assigned in time set for each project.
- Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.
- Determine materials needed for most frequently occurring repair work, prepare requisitions, and monitor inventory.
- Train less experienced Maintenance Technicians.
- Develop plans and estimates for electrical projects; includes determining time, equipment, and human and material resources needed to complete the work.
- Prepare written reports on ongoing projects and on the condition of machinery.
- Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.
- Perform other maintenance related work as assigned and required.
- Ability to operate hand tools, mechanical equipment, electrical diagnostic equipment, and use a computer.
- Ability to read / interpret technical documents.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic welding skills are a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- 5+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of experience as an Electrician preferred.
- Experience working with 460-volt equipment.
- Plumbing experience is a plus.
- Any training or certifications are a plus.
