Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
Schedule
Sunday: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Tuesday: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Thursday: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Friday: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Reports directly to: Shipping Manager

Overview
As a Night Shipping Supervisor, you’ll oversee the nightly shipping operations, supervising a dedicated team of approximately 20 employees. Your leadership will ensure shipping tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the company’s success. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead, problem-solve, and coordinate across departments—all during the quiet, productive night hours.
What You’ll Do and Achieve:
- Lead and coordinate a team of shipping staff, ensuring all assignments are clear, accurate, and completed on schedule
- Print, distribute, and manage nightly shipping paperwork, making sure the team understands their responsibilities
- Train, coach, and hold team members accountable for proper procedures and performance
- Work closely with independent drivers, resolving shortages and product issues quickly and efficiently
- Coordinate with Production and Freezer departments to confirm product availability and staging
- Handle late orders to meet customer and route needs, ensuring nothing gets missed
- Review past issues, such as customer complaints or shortages, and implement preventative measures
- Identify and resolve shipping problems during the night to minimize delays
- Maintain an organized, efficient shipping area that’s prepared for the next day’s operations
- Report any significant operational issues, employee concerns, or shipping challenges to the Shipping Manager
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping, warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability to consistently work the scheduled overnight hours (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
- Ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively

- Experience working with drivers and coordinating transportation
