Material Handler – Shipping Department

Midway Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for the Shipping Department at a manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. This position focuses heavily on packing finished products and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate must have excellent attendance and punctuality and be comfortable staying active throughout the entire shift with frequent bending lifting and movement.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–1:30 PM

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour

Duties:

• Pack and stack finished products into boxes and crates according to customer specifications.

• Prepare finished goods for shipment and ensure all products are properly secured.

• Label packages and verify product measurements weights and quantities.

• Take pictures of packaged products for customer review.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.

• Move materials using pallet jacks hand trucks and other material-handling equipment.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Assist other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.

• Must be comfortable with constant movement throughout the entire shift.

• Ability to frequently bend stoop stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

• Strong attention to detail when packing labeling and preparing shipments.

• Previous material-handling warehouse or packing experience preferred.

• Forklift and other material-handling equipment experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment throughout the shift.
