Job Title: Warehouse Operations Associate (Junior Operator Level 1)
Department: Operations / Production
Location: North Las Vegas, NV 89115
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hr (based on experience)
Overview:
This role supports daily warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Warehouse Operations Associate (Junior Operator Level 1) assists with packaging, machine support, cleaning, and inventory handling while ensuring product quality and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. This position works across multiple teams including production, shipping, receiving, and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging & Production Support
- Assist in machine operations with a basic understanding of equipment and safety procedures
- Monitor production output and support machine changeovers
- Pack finished products to specification and customer standards
- Inspect products to ensure quality (handles, reinforcements, and bag integrity)
- Ensure all finished goods are properly labeled and prepared for shipment
Warehouse & Facility Operations
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and warehouse areas
- Remove trash, handle recycling, and keep workspaces organized
- Support picking, packing, and order fulfillment as needed
- Assist with inventory verification and inbound/outbound shipments
Quality & Productivity
- Perform quality checks using reference samples and specifications
- Report any production or quality issues immediately
- Meet production targets and maintain accurate records/documentation
Teamwork & Operational Support
- Provide support across production lines and departments as needed
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate initiative with cleaning, maintenance, and support tasks
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Report hazards, unsafe behavior, or incidents immediately
Qualifications:
- Previous experience using a sit-down forklift is required
- Basic mechanical understanding preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0–6 months of warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment and processes
- Basic English communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a drug screen/background check
Work Environment:
- Warehouse/manufacturing setting (not climate-controlled)
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat during summer months
- Requires standing, lifting, and working around machinery
- Heavy lifting may be required following proper procedures
- Required PPE: safety footwear, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, hearing protection
- Shift work may include early starts, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
