Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Powder Coater for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Kenosha, WI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating powder coating equipment, preparing metal parts, and applying powder coatings to meet quality and production standards. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and inspect metal parts before powder coating.
• Operate powder coating spray equipment and curing ovens.
• Apply powder coating evenly according to specifications and quality standards.
• Mask and tape designated areas to prevent unwanted coating.
• Hang and remove parts from racks, hooks, or conveyor systems.
• Inspect finished products for proper coverage, finish, and overall quality.
• Maintain and clean powder coating equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining consistent quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience using powder coating equipment is required.
• Knowledge of powder coating processes, surface preparation, and curing procedures.
• Ability to identify coating defects and maintain quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled 2nd shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required.

• Days: Monday–Friday
• Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience
