Heavy Assembler I - 2nd Shift

The Heavy Assembler I is responsible for assembling large or heavy components and products according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. This entry-level role supports production operations by ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Thursday| 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour

Duties:

• Assemble large or heavy parts, components, or finished products according to instructions
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Inspect parts and completed products for defects or inconsistencies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with material handling, including lifting and moving heavy items
• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or production delays to supervisors

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read basic work instructions and measurements
• Comfortable working with tools and machinery
• Ability to lift 25–50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• Experience with heavy assembly or mechanical assembly
• Familiarity with blueprints and schematics
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Work Environment & PPE:

• Manufacturing or industrial setting
• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• May involve overtime and shift work depending on production needs
