Heavy Assembler II - 1st Shift

The Heavy Assembler II is responsible for assembling complex and heavy components or finished products while ensuring high quality and adherence to specifications. This role requires a higher level of experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read detailed blueprints. The Heavy Assembler II may also support troubleshooting, training, and workflow improvements within the production team.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Friday| 05:00 AM - 1:30 PM 
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

Duties:

• Assemble complex, heavy-duty components and products according to detailed blueprints and specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices with precision
• Perform quality checks and ensure finished products meet company standards
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to maintain production flow
• Train and support entry-level assemblers (Assembler I) as needed
• Maintain accurate production documentation and records
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of heavy or mechanical assembly experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with assembly tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• Mechanical or technical certification (a plus)
• Experience with torque specifications and precision measurements
• Leadership or mentoring experience
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Work Environment & PPE:

• May require standing, lifting, bending, and working in varying temperatures
• Manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed
